PK-Sim® Packages

Modular packages designed to match the needs of our customers

PK-Sim® covers an impressive range of applications that strongly vary in complexity and are geared towards the user's needs. The modular design of PK-Sim® makes it possible to purchase only the desired functions. Thus, the user only pays for the functionality that is desired and avoids the cost for features that will never be used.

Two predefined packages are available and are customized for users at different R&D stages (click here to view enlarged image of details of the individual PK-Sim® packages):

Both packages allow for detailed pharmacokinetics investigation in the early research and optimization phase and can be used for first predictions of pharmacokinetics from in vitro data as well as the evaluation and interpretation of first in vivo results by modeling the key processes of absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion ADME. By aiding study design and compound prioritization they are a powerful tool to help increasing efficiency in this early stage. Also, MoBi®, our unique systems biology tool for multiscale physiological modeling and simulation, forms an integral part of both packages.

    PK-Sim® Pre-Clinical:

With this package, the pharmacokinetics of a development candidate can be simulated in great detail in different species. Active processes, such as metabolism and active transport can be modeled in all organs which will lead to an increased understanding of concentration-time curves. PK-Sim® Pre-Clinical represents an invaluable tool for understanding new compounds and subsequently making the right decisions for development. (download Flyer PK-Sim® Pre-Clinical)

    PK-Sim® Clinical:

This package represents the full version of PK-Sim®. It contains all of the features included in PK-Sim® Preclinical plus three additional modules for professional prediction of population kinetics (PK-Pop Module), estimation of age-dependent clearances (Clearance Scaling Module) and a PK-PD Module for the integration of activity/toxicity data with organ exposure. This PK-Sim® package is designed to satisfy the high standards of PK experts involved in clinical development stages. (download Flyer PK-Sim® Clinical)

Customized bundles of different modules are also possible. If you are interested in a PK-Sim® package tailored towards your needs, contact us.
