Research mission statement

Perform frontier research and transform results into cutting edge products to support drug development

BTS Computational Systems Biology is part of Bayer, one of the leading research companies worldwide, annually investing more than EUR 2.5 billion into research and development to utilize science for a better life. Despite these large investments, BTS is also actively participating in publicly funded research projects within the area of computational systems biology. We acknowledge the support and enjoy the partnerships with other research institutions, which have developed within these frameworks. Overall, BTS has established fruitful partnerships with many academic and industrial corporations providing a track record for future projects.

Our commitment to frontier research is documented by publications in internal scientific journals, poster presentations and talks on conferences, and our software solutions for PBPK and systems biology research. Together with our services, this makes a real difference to support drug development.
